Eagles Injury Update: Jason Peters, Earl Wolff, Mychal Kendricks all ruled out

Injury issues for Philadelphia.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Eagles are dropping like flies in Green Bay.

Inside linebacker Mychal Kendricks was the first Eagle to suffer an injury. He was slow to get up after a Packers running play. Kendricks got off the field on his own power but was taken back to the locker room X-rays on his knee. Kendricks was originally ruled questionable to return, but then downgraded to out. Veteran LB Najee Goode is filling in for Kendricks.

The next Eagles player to go down was starting left tackle Jason Peters. Peters has been suffering from a shoulder injury and a broken finger all year, but he has been playing through the pain. Peters is tough, but he went down after a running play and came off the field. Peters would return for one play, but then looked hurt again and needed to be helped off the field. He was being examined for a concussion. Peters' return was ruled out. Veteran backup Allen Barbre replaces Peters.

As if the first two injuries weren't enough, rookie safety Earl Wolff went down after a play. He left the game with a knee injury. His return was also ruled out. Patrick Chung steps up in Wolff's place.

Philadelphia has remained relatively healthy all year, but have been hit hard today. Losing three starters, one of offense and two on defense, surely isn't ideal.
