Eagles at Giants 2013: Game Predictions

New, comments

How are you feeling about this one?

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

Look, the Eagles have to win today.

They just have to. A loss to the 0-4 Giants would be... well, I don't even want to think about it, but it would be really disappointing. An Eagles victory means Philly will be 2-0 in the NFC/NFCE, despite a losing 2-3 record. A Dallas loss to the Denver Broncos (very possible) combined with an Eagles win means the two teams would be tied for first in the division. Sunday has the potential to be a very good or a very bad day for the Eagles.

Obligatory reminder: It's the NFL. Any Given Sunday. And so on. But the Giants have just looked so horrible in all phases. They turn the ball over more than anyone. Eli Manning is erratic. Up to 5 starters may be missing due to injury. There's no good excuse for the Eagles to lose this one.

Losing three games in a row has to taken on Chip Kelly and his team. They are hungry for a win, and what better to satisfy that hunger with a divisional game victory? It's a prime opportunity for Philadelphia and I feel they are ready to take advantage.

Clearly the BGN staffs feels the same way. Everyone picked the Eagles to win this week.

Now, it's your turn. Leave your predictions for today's game in the comments below and don't forget to vote in the poll.
