Eagles Injury Report: Bradley Fletcher returns to practice

New, comments

The Eagles' starting cornerback returned to practice after sitting out on Wednesday.

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

All but five players were full participants in Thursday's Eagles practice as they prepare to face the New York Giants on Sunday.

Michael Vick was yet again a full participant. He is expected to start on Sunday. Friday will be a big day for Vick as he takes part in a sprint test to see how his hamstring injury holds up. The Eagles' other QB, Nick Foles, still hasn't been cleared to return to practice.

A significant change from Wednesday's injury report is that Bradley Fletcher is back. The starting CB sat out yesterday with a hyper-extended knee but told reporters he feels he will be ready for Sunday. This is good news for the team because they only have four cornerbacks on the active roster. It should be noted safety Kurt Coleman would slide to cornerback in an emergency situation.

Special teams contributor and backup LB Jake Knott is still out with hamstring injury. It's not looking like he will be able to play on Sunday, so expect recently signed Emmanuel Acho to fill his role.
