Eagles-Cowboys Final Score: Philadelphia loses to Dallas, 17-3 - BLG, BGN
Ugh. Still hard to believe the Eagles couldn't even score one touchdown.

The Worst Throw of the Season Award: Nick Foles
Foles' throw to Jason Avant in the end zone was horrific. Avant was WIDE OPEN, with no defenders behind him. That's a routine throw for a high school QB. And it really wasn't that close. All Foles had to do was get it in Avant's general vicinity, but it was wildly under-thrown.
Crapfest - Tommy Lawlor, Iggles Blitz
Does the poor performance mean that Foles has been exposed? No. Just like last week didn’t make him a franchise QB. One game is one game. You need a pattern of games to come up with an accurate evaluation. I’d love to see Foles back on the field next week so that we can see how he responds to this performance. Another bad game would be a bad sign for his future.
Ryans Leads Outstanding Effort On 'D' - Danta Klaus, PE.com
In an otherwise frustrating and disappointing 17-3 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, the performance of the defense was a bright spot for the Eagles that should provide encouragement moving forward. The signs of improvement had been evident for the past two games, and on Sunday the unit took another step in the right direction as it limited an explosive Cowboys offense to just 17 points. Even so, the Cowboys were able to make some critical plays when they needed them, especially on third down, and the Eagles defense was far from pleased with the final result.
Where the Eagles’ QB Situation Stands - Sheil Kapadia, Birds 24/7
The whole "win as a team, lose as a team" thing almost always applies, but Foles didn’t give the Eagles much of a chance, going 11-for-29 for 80 yards and averaging 2.8 yards per attempt. Coming off a strong showing against the Bucs, the Eagles’ second-year quarterback missed open receivers all day long, held on to the ball too long and suffered a head injury late in the third quarter.
Busted: Nick Foles plays worst game as a pro on big stage versus Dallas - Andrew Kulp, The700Level
Making Foles’ poor performance all the more disappointing was the fact that the Birds’ defense did everything they had to do to keep them in the game. Holding Tony Romo and the Cowboys to just 17 points is no small feat, particularly when the offense punts the ball away nine times and turns it over three more. The game was there for the taking with almost any reasonable production from the offense.
Barkley's debut: 3 interceptions in 1 quarter - John Gonzalez, CSN Philly
Three drives for Barkley. Three interceptions. Tough way to start a pro career. It was also a tough spot – his first NFL action with his team trailing against an NFC East rival for first place in the division. That wouldn’t be easy for a veteran. It certainly wasn’t easy for a quarterback that doesn't get many meaningful practice snaps.
Nick Foles wastes his opportunity - Rich Hofmann, Daily News
Before he suffered the injury, which could conceivably keep him out for next week's game against the Giants -- an independent neurologist will evaluate whether or not Foles suffered a concussion -- he was indecisive and erratic. On a day when many believed he had a chance to win the starting quarterback job, Vick hamstring or no Vick hamstring, he played his worst minutes of the season, going back to training camp. The numbers: 11-for-29 for 80 yards and a poor 46.2 passer rating.
