Michael Vick is active for the Eagles-Bucs game on Sunday but he won't play. Vick is still dealing with a hamstring injury he suffered against the New York Giants. His activation is only in case of an injury emergency. Nick Foles will start at QB for the Eagles and rookie Matt Barkley will be the primary backup. Barkley is active for the first time in his career due to the Vick injury.
Backup TE James Casey will sit today due to a groin injury. The Eagles will only dress two tight ends: Brent Celek and Zach Ertz.
Starting safety Patrick Chung returns to the active game day roster after missing two previous games.
For the Bucs, signifcant inactives include starting OG Carl Nicks and WR Mike Williams. Starting CB Jonathan Banks, dealing with a MRSA scare, is indeed active.
