BCS National Championship 2013: Alabama vs Notre Dame game time, TV schedule, and more

Mike Ehrmann

The 2013 BCS National Championship Game featuring Notre Dame vs. Alabama kicks off at 8 p.m. (ET) on ESPN. Be sure to check out Roll Bama Roll, our Alabama site and One Foot Down, our Notre Dame blog.

The main thing to watch for us tonight will be all the 2013 NFL draft prospects. Check out Mocking the Draft for a full write up on all of these guys, but here's a general idea of who to watch for.

Alabama offense - The top rated guy is LG Chance Warmack. He may not be the highest drafted guy in this game, but he's arguably the best. G/C Barrett Jones and RT DJ Fluker will also play on Sundays. The Tide also have two 1,000 yard rushers in junior Eddie Lacy and freshman T.J. Yeldon. Lacy will likely go pro after the game.

Alabama defense - CB Dee Milliner is likely to be a top 10 pick in April and may be the only true shut down corner in the draft. NT Jesse Williams will be sought after by 3-4 teams looking for a block eater in the middle. They've also got a great set of LBs, but it may be that none will come out this year. CJ Mosley has already said he would be back despite being a likely 1st round pick this year.

Notre Dame defense - The big name here is middle linebacker Manti Te'o, who will be a first round pick. The Irish have some interesting guys up front, but they're mostly prospects for 2014.

Notre Dame offense - TE Tyler Eifert is the top rated TE in the 2013 class, although that may speak more to the quality of the class than Eifert. RB/WR Theo Riddick could be an interesting NFL prospect as a hybrid offensive weapon.

We've also got a feature on how players can have seen their NFL stock rise and fall big time based on their performance in this game.
