At the Senior Bowl, Chip Kelly and the Eagles have met with quarterbacks, including former Florida State passer E.J. Manuel.

Ryan Nassib, Eagles season ticket holder, met with his hometown team, and the Syracuse quarterback had the expected reaction to the meeting. "That was cool as hell," Nassib said Tuesday in between Senior Bowl practices.

Barner Provides Kelly Scouting Report
No one at the Senior Bowl can give Eagles fans a better preview of what to expect from new head coach Chip Kelly than Kelly's former Oregon running back Kenjon Barner. Barner's four seasons at Oregon ran parallel to Kelly's four seasons as head coach, and the two worked quite well together. Barner finished his Oregon career with 3,151 rushing yards, the third-highest total in the program's history.

E.J. Manuel had a few nice throws. When you talk about "QBs that can make all the throws," Manuel fits the bill, with the key word being "can." He throw with zip, with touch, and is occasionally accurate. Does "occasionally accurate" make sense? I guess what I mean there is that he’ll string together a few passes in a row that are right on the money, which tells me that he really is accurate, only with the occasional throw where you go, "What the hell is he throwing at?"
