The man who all but invented the NFL draft, Gil Brandt released his first mock draft of the offseason and as usual, he's got a different take than the typical mock drafts out there.
Here's his top 10
1. Kansas City Chiefs - Luke Joeckel, OT, Texas A&M
2. Jacksonville Jaguars - Bjoern Werner, DE, Forida State
3. Oakland Raiders - Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
4. Philadelphia Eagles - Chance Warmack, OG, Alabama
The Eagles fill a need by making Warmack the first guard picked in the top 10 since 1997.
5. Detroit Lions - Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
6. Cleveland Browns - Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M
7. Arizona Cardinals - Matt Barkley, QB, USC
8. Buffalo Bills - Alec Ogletree, LB, Georgia
9. New York Jets - Jarvis Jones, LB, Georgia
10. Tennessee Titans - Star Lotulelei, DT, Utah
Definitely some surprises in there with two QBs in the top 10, Star Lotulelei dropping and Chance Warmack going as high as he did.
Speaking of Warmack, what are your thoughts on that? Talent-wise, he may be the best player in the draft, but is the value of his position worth taking him at #4?
