The Eagles search for a new head coach rolls on today with a few more interviews on the docket. Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden (profile) is scheduled to interview today after meeting with the Chargers yesterday. Colts interim HC and OC Bruce Arians is due in Tuesday.
Over the weekend news broke that the Eagles had interviewed former Super Bowl winning head coach and current NFL Network and FOX analyst Brian Billick last Monday. Ruben Frank reported that Billick is considered one of the "leading candidates."
One of the other leading candidates could certainly be Seattle Seahawks DC Gus Bradley, who the Eagles met with Saturday in Atlanta. With the Seahawks losing yesterday, Bradley is now free to interview and accept a job at any time. Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reported yesterday that Bradley's interview with the Eagles went "great" and that he expects the team to bring Bradley back.
Either way, it does seem that this search is nearing its end.
