Pro Football Focus has been releasing their "all division" teams and today got to the NFC East. Despite finishing last in the division, the Eagles are represented ok with 5 guys on the team.
PFF darling Evan Mathis is the lone Eagles offensive player to make the list. He also made their All Pro team, so it was fairly obvious he'd be on this list as well.
One surprise comes at defensive end where they named 2010 first round picks Jason Pierre-Paul and Brandon Graham as their top guys. The surprise though, is who they rated higher.
No DeMarcus Ware in this team, with JPP having a year that deserved more plaudits than it got. Sure, his pressure numbers were down, but his work in the run game propelled him to the third-highest grade of all 4-3 defensive ends. Who was ahead of him? Well Graham for one, with the Eagle making the most of his limited time to be a pass rushing menace. Playing time kept him out of many end of year teams, but not this one.
Fletcher Cox & DeMeco Ryans also made the cut. The other was Colt Anderson, who was named the NFC East's top special teamer.
