By my count, the Eagles have interviewed or been about to interview 47 different people for their head coaching job in the past 10 days. We've all diligently followed the rumors and hopefully you've been reading my prospective coach profiles and by this point most of you have to have formed an opinion on your top guys.
So lay them out. You can either give me your #1 guy, your top 2 or top 3. And if you're feeling up to it, feel free to drop a couple of lines in as to why these are your top guys.
Here are mine in no particular order with links to their profiles.
Lovie Smith - He's got more experience and success as an NFL coach than any other candidate and it's not even close. He's one of the best defensive minds in the game and is a prime candidate to have success with a change of scenery.
Bruce Arians - I just think his resume is fantastic. The guy has had success wherever he's went, he's played a part in developing Peyton Manning, Ben Roethilisberger and now Andrew Luck, and he has connections all around the NFL. If anyone was likely to put together the best staff, it's him.
Gus Bradley - This is the boom/bust pick. Bradley has no head coaching experience at all. He's never assembled a staff, he has no experience with offense... But along with Pete Carroll he's put together one of, if not the best defense in the NFL. And he's done so not just with good personnel, but innovation as well.
