It's Giants week, which means it is time for the beef between LeSean McCoy and New York Giants Defensive End Osi Umenyiora to pick back up.
Here is what McCoy had to say about Umenyiora in an E:60 piece set to air tonight:
"Osi, to be honest, he is a good player," McCoy said. "I think he thinks that he is better than what he really is. I think he is a ballerina in a Giants uniform. Other than that, that is all I got to say about Osi."
The two have been going back and forth at each other since McCoy said Umenyiora was "soft" and "overrated." The Giants defensive end shot back at the time calling McCoy "Lady Gaga" and wishing McCoy a "Happy Mother's Day."
This time however, he took the high road to McCoy's comments.
"He is probably right," Umenyiora said. "I might be a ballerina in a Giants uniform. I am lucky that I got the contract, I'm lucky to be playing 10 years in the league, won Super Bowls, all that is pure luck.
"I am happy for him," Umenyiora added. "I'm happy that he got his contract, and I am happy that everything is working out for him in Philadelphia."
McCoy also says in the piece that he restrained himself from firing back at Osi earlier this offseason because Andy Reid asked him not to.
All of this talk will just make the already very important early season match up this Sunday even more interesting.
