Almost 4 years ago now, we talked about a book called "The Silver Linings Playbook" by Matthew Quick. It's a book about love and depression with the main character being an Eagles fan (sounds about right). The book takes place over the course of an Eagles season.
In fact, Hank Baskett was actually a small character in the book. The book was later optioned for a movie and recently the first trailer was released. It's being made by David O. Russell (The Fighter, Three Kings) and stars Bradley Cooper, who just so happens to be an Eagles fan himself.
In the trailer, you can see Cooper wearing an Eagles jersey for what seems like most of the movie and also at a game. I won't spoil what Baskett did in the book, but in the trailer Cooper is wearing a DeSean Jackson jersey... So you have to wonder whether he might have a cameo? Either way, check it the trailer.
