Today is Military Day at Eagles training camp, where active duty US soldiers are invited to camp and allowed on the field after practice to mingle with players and pose for pictures. WR Chad Hall, who is himself a veteran of the US Air Force, will be taking the opportunity to shave his head to raise money for the Wounded Warriors charity.

"I'm just trying to really take our minds off us and really appreciate these guys and what they do," said Hall. "They're over fighting for our freedom every day. We're fighting on the field, but it's so miniscule to what they really do. We're just trying to gather a bunch of money today and give back to the Wounded Warriors. For example, the players on the team, a bunch of guys are donating per swipe it takes to shave my head, an amount and then we're going to collect it all. Also, people in the community have been getting it out on the news and radio. Anyone can donate today. You just go to WoundedWarriorProject.org and make a donation or just pick up the phone and dial 855-GIVEWWP. So just trying to make it a day for them since it is Military Day."

Hall says he hasn't shaved his head since he was at basic training back in 2004. After the jump we've got a video from Jeff Warner of Chad talking about Military Day a bit more. Follow Jeff on twitter @Jeff1470TheFox
