Andy Reid said this morning that Riley Cooper will likely miss 6 weeks due to surgery on the fractured collarbone he suffered yesterday during practice.
The recovery timeline means he could potentially be ready by Week 1 when the Eagles face the Cleveland Browns. Reid said that the team does not expect to make any moves right now for another wide out, and mentioned how good rookie WR Marvin McNutt looked yesterday.
Although Jason Babin has yet to have an MRI, Reid says the Pro-Bowl defensive end will likely be out only a week with a strained calf muscle.
