While we've still got some time before real football returns, we can all be thankful that the NFL's "dark period" after the draft/OTAs and training camp is finally over.
Eagles rookies and selected vets will report to Lehigh University tomorrow at 5pm for the start of the Philadelphia Eagles 2012 training camp. Andy Reid will then officially open camp with a press conference that our own Eliot Schorr-Parks will be on hand to cover.
On Monday and Tuesday, practice gets underway with two a days starting at 8:45am and resuming at 3:30pm. The young guys practice on their own once more on Wednesday morning before the full squad is due to report later that day. The full squad takes the field for the first time on Thursday at 3pm in a practice closed to fans before camp begins in earnest at 8:15am Friday morning.
From that point on it's more or less two a days, with a few days off thrown in, until the August 9th preseason opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers. You can see the full practice and autograph schedule here.
From then on we'll have daily practice reports, keeping our eyes open for the next Na Brown and of course... hoping no one gets injured.
22.5 more hours to wait!
