The Eagles have signed three more of their own draft picks and officially inked former Miami Hurricanes QB Jacory Harris. CB Brandon, OG Brandon Washington & RB Bryce Brown all signed 4 year deals.
Harris signed a 3 year deal, which of course could be a one day deal for all it's worth. With the new CBA rules about offseason practices, veterans can't attend rookie camps. So the Eagles would essentially have just Nick Foles as the only arm in camp. So Harris will likely take a few reps off his hands. It would probably be a surprise if he made it to the full training camp in August.
Here's the Eagles release on Harris.
A three-year starter at Miami (FL), Harris (6-4, 195) compiled 8,826 passing yards and 70 touchdowns, while adding five rushing scores. He finished his career ranked second in school history in both yards and touchdowns, behind Ken Dorsey (9,486 yards; 86 touchdowns). He was selected as the team’s recipient of the 2011 Offensive Most Outstanding Player award, as well as the 2010 Community Service Man of the Year award.
