Ruben Frank has tweeted out the details of the 5 year deal signed by new Eagles LT Demetress Bell and the structure is generally what we expected. He makes $1.15 million in base salary next season with a roster bonus of $2 million and a workout bonus of $100k. He'll obviously make that money.

Next year is where things get big. He makes just a million in base salary, but is due an $8.5 million roster bonus. So unless Peters' rehab really goes wrong, this is essentially a one year, $3.5 million deal with no prorated signing bonus or guaranteed money.

The big roster bonus also makes the possibility of him becoming trade bait in 2013 less likely. Given how unlikely it is that the Eagles would pay that bonus, teams aren't going to be lining up to take make offers for him and take that roster bonus on themselves. If he does play well next year, it's probably more likely that he'd be cut and would hit the free agent market.

Either way though, the guy has every incentive to play well next year.
