If what Mel Kiper forecasts in his latest mock draft comes true, I expect Eagles fans will be pretty happy.

At #15 he's got the Eagles taking Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi St.

Disruptive and explosive from the interior, Cox is another player you can take without worries about a scheme fit. He has a chance to become a Pro Bowl player regardless of where you line him up inside. The Eagles simply have to become stronger against the run, and up the middle in general, and Cox should provide early dividends.

At #46 it's LB Zach Brown from UNC.

A great athlete who can fill a big need at linebacker for the Eagles. Even with DeMeco Ryans, they need help.

At 51 (the Arizona pick) he's got a bit of a surprise with Clemson TE Dwayne Allen.

My top tight end for much of the year, Allen didn't test well, but he's there on tape.

At that point in the draft, the Eagles have no glaring needs, so going for value is a smart idea. Allen is an interesting NFL prospect in that he's a solid pass catcher, but already a pretty good blocker. That's a pretty rare combo coming out of college. After the jump we've got a highlight video of Allen.
