Eagles Draft Picks 2012: RB Bryce Brown Selected 229th Overall

With the 22nd pick in the 7th round the Eagles have selected Bryce Brown, RB, Kansas State. Brown is a big back at 6-0, 233 lbs. He was originally a highly sought after recruit that went to Tennessee, but family troubles ended up seeing him transfer back home to Kansas St.

He's really one of those 7th round, "let's just take a shot on the guy" type of picks. As National Football Post says, coming out of high school, he was rated higher than Trent Richardson.

Watching him run in Lane Kiffin's zone scheme as a freshman, the guy was an impressive back with a lot of natural talent. He was the number one ranked recruit out of high school, ahead of Trent Richardson in 2009 and no doubt has the skill set to play in the league. The biggest question mark for him going forward is his overall character.

As with all 7th rounders, Brown is a long shot. He really hasn't done anything in college since 2009, so this is pretty much as speculative as it gets.

That is the final pick for the Eagles in the 2012 NFL Draft.
