Mel Kiper Jr has released his final mock draft just a few hours before the real thing happens. For the Eagles, he's actually went back to one of his earlier picks for them.
Michael Brockers, DT, LSU
A great fit, Brockers helps the Eagles where they are desperate, on the interior of the defensive line. Even if they move down the board, this is a need I expect them to address.
First off, I'm not exactly sure I'd refer to the Eagles as "desperate" on the interior of the defensive line given that they'll return both starters from last season and they'll have Landri & Dixon back. But I can see how it's a need.
Second, I'm also not really sure exactly how Brockers is a "great fit." He's not the athletic type DT that Washburn likes. He's more of the big mountain type. It's not that I don't think Brockers can be a good player at the next level, it's just that among the DTs in the draft, I see far better "fits" for what Washburn and the Eagles want to do.
Frankly, if I'm sitting at 15 in this mock draft where the likes of Fletcher Cox, Luke Kuechly, Mark Barron & Stephon Gilmore are all off the board... I'd be more inclined to take a flyer on Dontari Poe. Brockers wasn't exactly a prime performer in college either (although better than Poe), so why not go for the freakish athletic talent and hope to hit a home run?
