The Linc - Dontari Poe Dominates The Combine

Poe makes big impact at NFL Combine
After he checked in at 6-4, 346, but before he blasted through 44 bench-press reps of 225 pounds and ran a 4.98-second 40, Dontari Poe told reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine he wasn't going to wait for a pro day to showcase his skills, he figured he could handle the combine stuff just fine.

Combine Observations: D-line and linebackers
Memphis' Dontari Poe looks like a Vince Wilfork body double and moves like him too. The 346-pound defensive tackle ran a 4.98 40 and glided through the positional drills like he was a 220-pound linebacker.

Let's Talk Luke & Poe
I do need to say a few things about DT Dontari Poe. He is 6’4, 346. He is fast and agile. Shockingly so for a man his size. He is a once in a lifetime kind of physical freak. You just don’t see guys that big who aren’t fat and who can do what he does. That is all natural.

"Peyton’s not gonna go there," McNabb recently told ESPN 980, via Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post. "I don’t see Peyton ending up in Washington. Because what happens is now, you’re bringing in another veteran who will be 35 36, who has been in one offense throughout his career. It’s the same situation."
