Marty Mornhinweg Seems To Want DeSean Jackson Back

The Eagles own website caught up with offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg last Friday and asked his thoughts on DeSean Jackson's future with the team.

"We're excited about the future going forward with DeSean Jackson as a Philadelphia Eagle," Mornhinweg said. "He is an outstanding player and will be in the future as well."

"He scares people is what he does and when he's on the field because he's always a threat for the big play," Mornhinweg said. "He'd be important to anybody's offense with that speed alone. DeSean is a natural player."

Jackson is slated to hit free agency on March 13th, if he's not signed or franchised beforehand. All indications are that the Eagles will not allow Jackson to hit unrestricted free agency and will at least put the tag on him.

Adam Schefter reported over the weekend that the Eagles were "open" to listening to trade offers for DeSean, but today said that the report did not come from the Eagles.
