I'm back with some week 14 NFL picks against the spread. I'm a little pressed for time this week so I don't have time to fully get into every game, but I've done all the same research I usually do with the trends, simulators etc. I did chime in some thoughts if I thought the pick warranted them.
Picks are in bold. [Note by JasonB, 12/07/12 2:26 PM EST ] Also added in picks for those on mobile
St Louis Rams at Buffalo Bills (-3) - Pick Bills
Dallas Cowboys at Cincinnati Bengals (-3) - Really no idea why Dallas is getting so much respect here. - Pick Bengals
Kansas City Chiefs at Cleveland Browns (-6.5) - Pick: Chiefs
Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts (-5) Pick: Colts
Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings (+2.5) - Pick: Bears
San Diego Chargers at Pittsburgh Steelers (-9.5) - Going against huge favorites has been a winning strategy all year. If this were to edge up to 10, that would be a steal. Pick: Chargers
Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-9) - Same idea as above but with one caveat. The Bucs are 9-2-1 against the spread this year while the Eagles are the mirror image at 2-9-1. So while this is a very high number to cover for a mediocre Bucs team, the Eagles are hard to trust. Pick: Eagles
Baltimore Ravens at Washington Redskins (-1) Pick: Redskins
Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers (+3.5) Pick: Falcons
New York Jets at Jacksonville Jaguars (+2.5) - Yes, the Jags stink but I don't know what the Jets have done to deserve being road favorites over anyone. Pick: Jags
Miami Dolphins at San Francisco 49ers (-10) - This is probably one of those times when it just doesn't feel right... but keep in mid that every trend says to go with the big underdog here. And FYI, most smart money in Vegas is coming in on Miami. Pick: Dolphins
New Orleans Saints at New York Giants (-4.5) - Worth noting that the trends are really split here and the simulator has this as a half point Saints cover. So this is a very tough pick. Pick: Giants
Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks (-10) - Seattle will be without one of its starting CBs and the Cards will start John Skelton, who compared with this Lindley kid is practically Drew Brees. Pick: Cardinals
Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers (-7) Pick: Packers
Houston Texans at New England Patriots (-3.5) Pick: Pats
