Monday Night Football Open Thread: Giants vs. Redskins

Brad Penner-US PRESSWIRE

The Eagles have been making headlines today for benching their quarterback, firing a coordinator, and having reports published that their coaches were busy demeaning each other infront of players.

Meanwhile the other teams in the division will be making headlines tonight for actually, you know, football reasons.

The New York Giants and Washington Redskins face off tonight in a game that has playoff implications and features the two best quarterbacks in the the division- Eli Manning and Robert Griffin III.

As these two teams play in prime time, it's fair to wonder- how far from these teams are the Eagles? Can they compete with them next year?
