The Eagles have not made any official moves yet, but it looks like one is coming.
Julian Vandervelde, according to multiple reports, said today that he will be added to the 53 man roster. With Vandervelde headed up, it looks like that will be the nail in the coffin for Todd Herremans.
The results have not yet been made public on Herremans MRI, but the news will not be good when it does. Herremans is expected to miss the rest of the regular season. With Herremans gone, the Eagles have now lost their three best offensive lineman this season.
Injuries should never be used as an excuse, but it's hard to think of any team, coach, or quarterback that could succeed for an extended amount of time with that kind of blow to it's offensive line.
DT Frank Trotter, who was released earlier today to make room for Phillip Thomas on the practice squad, was resigned to take Vandervelde's now empty spot.
