Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints open thread

Rich Schultz

The Eagles travel to the Big Easy tonight in a pivotal game against the New Orleans Saints. With the rest of the NFC East losing on Sunday, the Eagles really have a golden opportunity to get their heads above water and gain ground in the division.

The Saints are probably the definition of a wounded animal. At 2-5 on the year they've got a lot of problems. They're at or near the bottom of the league in almost every defensive category. They can't run the ball.... but they can do one thing really well and have the ability to hurt you with it.

Throwing the ball.

If there was ever a game for the defensive line to start generating pressure and for the corners to earn their money, it's tonight.
