Thanksgiving day NFL open thread

Happy Thanksgiving BGN! There certainly isn't a lot about the Eagles this year that we have to be thankful for, but for me at least, this year would be a lot worse if I didn't have this great community to commiserate with. So thanks to all of you.

Moving on to business, Thanksgiving is pretty much synonymous with football and that's probably even more true now as the NFL has 3 games on. There's the typical Lions & Cowboys games, but also the NFL network night game as well.

This years the Lions host the Texans in the early game. The Redskins travel to Texas to take on the Cowboys in the afternoon and the Jets host the Patriots tonight.

In my family we have a pretty set Thanksgiving tradition. We eat turkey. We toss the football around in the backyard. See relatives... and root for whoever is playing the Cowboys.

This year it just so happens to be another division rival, but that really doesn't change anything for me. Hail to the Redskins today... beat them Cowboys!
