So much for that guarantee by Rob Vito of Unequal Technologies that Vick will not get hurt this season.
Michael Vick is officially out for this Sunday against the Washington Redskins, meaning whatever slim playoff chances the Eagles still have now rest in the hands of Nick Foles.
Eagles head trainer Rick Burkholder said today that Vick is still suffering symptoms of the concussion he suffered on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
Burkholder said that Vick is not yet ready to exercise, still sensitive to light, and simply "is not the Michael Vick I know when he is healthy."
With Vick not practicing at all this week, it was a forgone conclusion that Foles would be the starter.
Burkholder would not speculate on whether or not the former Pro-Bowl quarterback will be ready to go in two weeks when the Eagles take on the Carolina Panthers. Concussion or no concussion, you have to think whether or not Vick plays will have a lot more to do with how Foles looks on Sunday than how Vick is feeling.
With Vick out, he has now missed at least one game in every year of his career except one.
