Andy Reid announced today LB Akeem Jordan will miss his second straight game while Colt Anderson, King Dunlap & Derek Landri are all questionable. Danny Watkins, who sat out of practice earlier this week with a chest injury is good to go.
Akeem Jordan's presence on special teams was certainly felt last week, but Jamar Chaney actually played quite well at WILL in his place on the defense. Reid singled him out for praise today.
"Chaney's done a good job," he said. "He's worked very hard to get himself back in there after the injury. He had a good week last week and had a good week's work this week."
While Jordan won't be back, Colt Anderson's return would be a big boost to that struggling Eagles kick coverage unit.
The one real interesting note from Reid's press conference was the revelation that while King Dunlap did return to practice, he did so working at both tackle and guard. While he didn't confirm that Demetress Bell would stick at LT, it would seem pretty clear that its the case. If King Dunlap was indeed going to resume his duties as the starting LT, there would be no way he'd be wasting time taking snaps at guard.
For the foreseeable future, Bell is the new LT.
