We've heard reports over the course of last week that Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg, who interview with the Raiders, was a "strong favorite" to get the head coach job there. However, Adam Schefter says that Marty is now not the favorite.
Schefter checked in on the Oakland situation on Sunday night, reporting that Green Bay Packers assistant head coach Winston Moss -- considered a favorite, if not the favorite -- has already been interviewed. Chicago Bears OC Mike Tice will have his sit-down on Tuesday. Furthermore, Schefter adds that the Raiders would like to make their decision by the end of the week.
Moss was a guy a lot of us had our eye on a possible defensive coordinator last season. He had his on eye on the Eagles too... but he didn't get an interview because the Packers went on to the Super Bowl. Otherwise, it would have been very likely that he would have gotten a job somewhere.
