Former Eagles coach Ryan battling cancer again
Former Eagles head coach Buddy Ryan is battling cancer, but plans to be in attendance to see his sons Rex and Rob coach when the Jets face the Cowboys on Sunday.

Sad to see yet another member of the Eagles family dealing with cancer. Remember that we're raising money for the American Cancer Society and giving away a pair of tickets to Eagles vs Cowboys.

In the Eagles offense, it's not as simple as just running at the first opening. Instead, the team wants running backs to take precise routes that force the defense's hand. If the backs can approach an opening in a way that makes the linebackers take a certain angle, offensive linemen will have an easier time anticipating, and making their blocks.

No drum roll, just the 2011 prediction: Philadelphia vs. Baltimore in Super Bowl 46, mark it down in permanent ink. OK, this is my pick mainly because I can't find as many reasons to eliminate these two as I can for the NFL's other 30 teams, so you might consider this backward thinking.
