Nnamdi Asomugha has had some new experiences this year as a member of the Eagles. Winning in week one, being a preseason favorite and of course, the Eagles vs Giants rivalry. He talked today about what this week leading up to the game has been like.
"There's just been a lot of talk to it, a lot of trash talking that goes on, and so that's all new for me because, for the most part, since I've been here there hasn't been much trash talking from our side at all, and then we come into this game and you start hearing guys talking, there's stuff on tv and the news. So that's the biggest thing that I've seen, but once we get out there on the field I think we'll start to see it a lot more, guys running around, hitting each other, and it being a bigger deal."
The Giants have been hit with a pretty amazing slew of injuries this year, but Nnamdi says that's not going to make them take the Giants lightly.
"Yeah, I mean, I don't think that anyone here is looking at it that way about their injuries and those sorts of things; we're still seeing the New York Giants and we're still seeing a great football team and a team that loves to try to beat up on the Eagles because of the rivalry. So I don't think anyone is looking into the injuries or anything like that. So there's no danger in it, we're seeing it for what it is, a good football team."
