Last night, ESPN was highlighting a bunch of tweets from NFL players reacting to the lockout. I thought it might be a great idea to the same from an Eagles perspective.
However, as I looked through the tweets of all the Eagles players, I got the impression that most do not seem terribly engaged in this process and if they are involved in what has been going on, they really aren't tweeting about it. After the jump is a little sampling.
It's been a long day of people talkin in circles.. Eff this, I'm goin to bed. G'Night twitches!
Eagle nation ...its time to get back to football!!
Don't forget to reduce those fines!!! 40 and 50k that's crazy....
@JeryBrennan just the fact that the owners said we have an agreement & we didnt even get the paper work yet.It takes 2 to have an agreement
At hard times, you'll see who's bending, see who's faking and pretending, who's taking and who's lending.
And finally, my absolute favorite... Asante Samuel tweeted this almost minutes after the owners approved their deal, right in the thick of things.
At this semi pro basketball game.. I miss basketball so much
