It's actually too bad that Osi Umenyiora probably won't be a Giant next year, because the feud between him and Eagles RB LeSean McCoy is heating up...
Yesterday, in a response to the story about Umenyiora basically calling his GM a liar and suing the Giants, McCoy tweeted that he was "Overrated n soft 3rd best d-line on his team honestly." Afterward, he was unrepentant saying "call it how I see it."
Well, today, in true schoolyard fashion, a reporter from the NY Times ran to Osi and said "OMG did you hear what LeSean said about you!?!" (disclaimer - those may not have been his exact words). Apparently he did and he responded.
As for McCoy, Osi referred to him as a "Chihuahua" and "Lady GaGa" and said: "She can say whatever he wants about it."
Ok, so "Chihuahua" is I guess a reference to him being small. Got that. Calling him "she" is a very old and oft used comeback to insult a guy. I get that one.... But "Lady Gaga?" I gotta say, I don't get it. Apparently this is what several members of the Giants defense refer to McCoy as.
I think we're starting to see that the bad blood here is not anything new.
