With the forty-second pick in the 2011 BGN Mock Draft, wild_eagle selects...
Aaron Williams - DB, Texas
Last season the Texans had an atrocious defense, and an awful offensive line. Nothing really went there way. I thought about going OL with a center like Stefen Wisniewski or Danny Watkins to help that terrible Offensive Line, however I think their secondary is a bigger need, they can't win games if they cannot stop the pass.
This is why I chose Aaron Williams out of Texas. Williams is a physical player, and seems to make big plays when needed. His 4.5 40-time means he could be a CB or a Safety. This plays in well for the Texans who can pretty much use anybody back there at any position. Williams will most likely start immediately and at 45 is a very good value pick. I actually see him fitting in at Safety for them because of the way he plays and this would allow him to play to his strengths which is make plays on the ball and tackle.
Next on the clock will be Kanade_Tachibana with the Minnesota Vikings. Please have your pick in by 6:00 pm EST.
