Eagles Tender Offers To Stewart Bradley, Max Jean-Gilles, Others

The Eagles announced today that they've made restricted free agent tender offers to Stewart Bradley, Max Jean-Gilles, Dimitri Patterson & Eldra Buckley. Bradley was tendered at the second round level, Max at the 4th round level, Patterson (no compensation), and named Eldra Buckley and exclusive rights free agent.

Teams have started tendering restricted free agents around the league because under the current CBA, the players would not have accrued enough years of service to be unrestricted free agents. In all likelihood that will not be the case in the new CBA, so probably these tenders won't mean anything... but there's really no reason for teams not to at least use the tenders just in case. If, as expected the new CBA requires less years for restricted free agency, presumably these guys would all be unrestricted free agents.

In addition the team named Matt Nagy as an offensive quality control coach. He's served as a coaching intern and later coaching assistant for the past three years.
