As a kid from Philadelphia, Kobe Bryant remains an Eagles fan to this day. Which means that like all Eagles fan he hates the Cowboys and has to deal with their "fans" wherever he goes. Also like all Eagles fans, he doesn't miss an opportunity to have some fun at their expense. Dwain Price from the Star-Telegram transcribed a great exchange Kobe had after being asked if he'd be devastated if the Eagles wouldn't play next year because of the lockout.

"I would, although in Dallas I don't know how they'd miss it because it's not like they had one any way,'' Bryant said. "Isn't that right, Joe.''

Bryant was hollering at teammate Joe Smith -- who also is a Cowboys' fan -- who had just walked by.

"I was just saying it wouldn't be like you guys would miss a football season here in Dallas,'' Bryant told Smith. "It's not like ya'll have one anyway.''

Smith said: "It's not like the Eagles won either, though.''

Kobe: "We went to the dance, though. Ya'll had people popping champagne in your building. That's not a good look, baby.''

Bryant was referring to the Green Bay Packers popping champagne after winning the Super Bowl at Cowboys Stadium.

"I deal with these Cowboys all the time,'' Bryant said. "I'm surrounded by them.''

Good for you Kobe.
