2011 NFL Draft: Todd McShay Agrees With Kiper On Eagles Pick

Earlier this week, Mel Kiper released his latest mock draft and had the Eagles taking an offensive lineman. In that post, several people mentioned that they wanted to see who ESPN's other draft guru Todd McShay had the Eagles grabbing...
Unfortunately for those hoping for more McShay/Kiper disagreement, you'll find none here. McShay also has the Eagles taking Wisconsin OT Gabe Carimi.

Outside linebacker is a bigger need, but no available prospect fits the Eagles' scheme and is worth this pick. Carimi has versatility to play tackle or guard immediately and should develop into a very good starting tackle -- likely on the right side -- in the very near future.

Oh wait, did I say if you were looking for disagreement you'd be disappointed? I lied... Notice how McShay (correctly) identifies outside linebacker as a major need? Well, Mel Kiper seems to think very different. In his writeup of the Carimi pick, Kiper claims "the Eagles have great pieces in place at offensive skill positions and linebacker"

"Great" pieces in place at linebacker? The Eagles?
