The Hollywood Reporter ran a poll to determine the most hated and liked players in the NFL. I suppose unsurprisingly the top 5 most hated guys in the league are quarterbacks, two of which reside right here in the NFC East.
The poll found that Brett Favre is the most disliked player in all of football, which is pretty amazing considering how in love everyone appeared to be with him just a few short years ago. Michael Vick came in as the 2nd most disliked player followed by Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger & Tony Romo.
So if you're scoring at home - Sending pics of your junk > dog killing > generally being a douche > sexual assault allegations > being on the Cowboys.
Ironically, the poll found that people saw Michael Vick as the 4th best player in the game. The Hollywood Reporter poll, which comes out Wednesday, got answers to a whole lot of questions but the one I found most peculiar is that more people who describe themselves as Republicans are rooting for the Packers, while more Democrats are pulling for the Steelers. I'm continually stunned how people can wrap their political leanings into non-political things... but this one is odd.
