The former Eagles coach says that fan frustration shouldn't play a role in whether Andy Reid stays or goes. Vermeil says that Reid is as good a coach as ever.

The career of one of the NFL’s most celebrated quarterbacks in the past decade may have come to a quiet close last week. The Minnesota VikingsDonovan McNabb’s third team in the last 19 months – granted McNabb his freedom, placing him on waivers Thursday. McNabb – who went unclaimed – now waits for a call from a new team, a call that may or may not come this season or even next.

Did Eagles celebrate division wins too much?
"We came out against the Giants and we executed pretty well," Jenkins said. "Then maybe we got too high off of that game. Maybe we didn’t approach the next game with the same intensity. You look at our record in our division and you look at our record against everyone else, and it looks like we’re not coming out with the same intensity in the regular games as we are in the division games."

Babin rips media, former Seahawks brass
"I just get a little frustrated with the lack of effort sometimes," Babin said of the media. "Do some homework, watch some tape, report the facts. Do we deserve to be talked about in a negative way? Yes, we’ve lost. But I just feel they should get it straight."
