Vick Donates 10K To Toys For Tots
The local Toys For Tots entered this weekend in a state of crisis. They had collected more than 119,000 toys by this time last year, but as of Friday had received around just 27,000. Michael Vick learned of this major shortage on the news, and told his publicist, "Santa’s gotta come to Philly." That’s when he decided to donate $10,000 to the Toys For Tots effort and arranged to make an appearance at Fire Engine Company 16 on Belmont Ave. Friday afternoon to try and give the drive a boost.

It was a surprise when Nnamdi Asomugha signed with the Eagles and now he will face the Jets, a team he thought he would be playing for.

Wideout Jeremy Maclin did practice, and said he expects to be much less limited this week than he was in Miami with his persistent hamstring pull. "It's a complete difference," Maclin said. "I thought I felt pretty good last week, but now you can actually see it on film and stuff like that. I practiced full-go today, so I'm ready to go."
