The Eagles recorded a season high nine sacks this afternoon. Casey Matthews, Brian Rolle & Phillip Hunt all recorded their first career sacks while Trent Cole and Jason Babin had three a piece. That puts Babin at 15 sacks, which tied him for the NFL lead briefly. However, Jared Allen had three of his own today to reclaim the lead.

Babin's 15 sacks this season are the 7th most ever for the Eagles and the most for the franchise since 2000, when Hugh Douglas also had 15. Only three Eagles have ever posted more than 15 sacks in a season (Reggie White 3X, Clyde Simmons 2X, and Greg Brown).

Kurt Coleman got his team leading 4th interception today. Like his others, it was an overthrown that pass that came pretty much right to him. But that's certainly not a knock. You have to make plays when they are there to be made and Coleman has done that when errant passes have come his way.

Andy Reid has suddenly turned into a master of the challenge flag this year. He won yet another challenge today and has now been successful on 8 of his last 10.
