Jason Peters and Asante Samuel were two of the three Eagles which were voted as starters for the pro bowl this year. However, both have decided to skip the event. Peters will be replaced by Falcons OT Tyson Clabo and Samuel will be replaced by the Packers' Tramon Williams.
Of course, if the Packers make the Superbowl they'll have find a couple more corners. If last year was any indication with all the guys dropping out, Dimitri Patterson may end up in the pro bowl before it's all said and done.
I don't believe any reasons were given as to why either guy decided to skip. Injury? Lack of interest? Could be anything. As of now Michael Vick, DeSean Jackson & David Akers all still plan to go.
