Eagles Bring Back Five For Practice Squad

The Eagles announced today that five players who had been cut by the team in the past two days were brought back to join the practice squad.

WR Chad Hall, RB Martell Mallett, DT Jeff Owens, G/C Dallas Reynolds and C A.Q. Shipley

NFL rules allow a team to have up to eight players on their practice squad, so the Eagles could add a few more guys that are unable to find jobs in the coming week or they could always hold some spots open for the season. Bringing back Jeff Owens means that 12 of the Eagles 13 draft picks this year will be with the team in one capacity or another. Owens will be on the practice squad & Ricky Sapp will spend the season on IR. Charles Scott, who was traded and later cut by Arizona, is the lone rookie to not be with the team this year.
