This is one of those records that's good and bad...
David Akers led the NFL in both points scored (38) and FGs (11) for the 2010 preseason. Sure, it's great for Akers. However, that many FGs means your offense wasn't punching the ball into the end zone.
Of course, it also bear mentioning that your starting offense also played a grand total of 6 quarters over three preseason games. So how much can you really take from that?
Either way, it does seem that Akers is in midseason form and poised to have a strong season.
