No Eagles Make First 50 Of NFL's Top 100 Players

The NFL has compiled their official list of the 100 greatest players to ever play in the league. They just released the bottom 50 and they'll be unveiling the rest 10 at a time every Thursday night on NFL Network.

Here's a link to #100-#61. You will not find any Eagles on the list, but one Eagle will make an appearance as a presenter. Jon Runyan will be presenting Michael Strahan, who came in a #99 on the list.

The battles those two had over the years were the stuff of legend and I think it's pretty cool that they get along in their post NFL lives.

[Note by JasonB, 09/29/10 12:18 PM EDT ] As Rujasu pointed out and I missed, Norm Van Brocklin is on the list as a St Louis Ram. While he only played 2 seasons as an Eagle, he did win a championship here. So while he is correctly on the list as a Ram (where he played for 12 seasons), I suppose we can give ourselves partial credit...
