Unlike last week, there were a number of really important and notable victories this week to choose from. Certainly the Cowboys win in Houston was big for them because it basically saved their season for now. The Falcons beating their division rival and reigning Super Bowl champ Saints in overtime was clearly a massive and important win.
But from my biased Eagles fan perspective... I love the Rams beating the Redskins. Not only was it great to see the Skins go down to the worst team in football last year, it was also a great win for the Rams franchise. Plus, it was totally fueled by ex Eagles coaches Steve Spagnuolo and Pat Shurmur. That's the same Steve Spags who turned down the Washington job when he was offered it after leading the Giants defense to a Superbowl. So, really a double wammy for the Skins.
But hey, they have Shanahan and he won a Superbowl 12 years ago.
