Cough... first, injuries... throat clear. Todd Herremans flew to North Carolina to see a specialist for what he called a "check up" and was reportedly given the ok. Stewart Bradley said his calf injury was nothing more than cramps and LeSean McCoy sat out practice after tweaking(there's that word again) his ankle. OL Fenuki Tupou sat out with a chest contusion. Andy Reid says he's not concerned.
"That happens, you get a little cramp here and a cramp there," Reid said. "Other than [Marlin Jackson], I'm not concerned."
Trevard Lindley impressed
Scout.com's Adam Caplan with his play yesterday. He's also been talking up WR
Riley Cooper's performance the past few days.
After practice the
Eagles built a playground at John Wister Elementary School in Germantown.
Jamar Chaney posted some pictures of the event on twitter.
Jeff Owens also posted some pics, including one of
Cornelius Ingram & Riley Cooper who were big rivals of his in college. I also got a kick out of him
snapping picks of the owner on the bus.
"It feels great," Gaither said. "You feel like when you get hurt and are on injured reserve, at some point, you don't even feel like you're a part of the team. It's good to be back out there with the guys, running around and breaking a sweat."
He says his foot is fine.
"My foot is fine," Gaither said. "I can probably go 'full go.' The coaches don't want to rush things. I'm doing all the individual things and competing a little bit but not completely. I'm just getting ready for training camp."
Finally, Juqua Parker is the Eagles oldest non kicker. How does he feel about that?
"Ah, age ain't nothing but a number," he said yesterday after the Eagles finished a full-squad OTA under a broiling June sun. "I'm just trying to be a leader, man. Trying to show these young guys how to do it."
