The sports memorabilia store where an autograph session with four Philadelphia Eagles players was abruptly canceled last weekend is closing. The Laurel Mall terminated the lease for The Sports Scene effective June 14, according to Amy Reusing, manager of the Hazle Township mall. The store will remain open until Monday, Reusing said.

When you are talking about a high draft pick – and Nate Allen was a high second-rounder – you’re not necessarily throwing him to the wolves by starting him. If he can compete – and I think Allen can – then you let him play, especially if he is better than anyone else you have at the position. Harris was more a tossing-to-the-wolves situation considering he was a fifth-round pick playing a new position. Allen is talented and poised, a nice combination. He didn’t seem fazed by moving up to the first unit and unlike some other rookies, he doesn’t appear lost on the practice field. He isn’t in over his head, not at all.
